After Care & Policies

At Glitter and Glamour, I go out of my way to make sure my valued clients have the best experience possible, from the minute you enter my doors to the moment you leave my salon.

Please take a moment to review my after care and policies to ensure you understand my procedures.

If you have any questions, just get in touch and I’ll be happy to help.

After Care Advice:

  • Use cuticle oil daily.

  • Wear gloves when using chemicals, washing up etc.

  • If a problem occurs after the first few days, allow me time to fix it.

  • Remember - nails are jewels not tools!

  • Have an infill/fresh set every 2-3 weeks to maintain upkeep.

  • Do not bite, pick at or attempt to remove artificial products as this will damage your natural nails.

  • Take care with suncream, fake tan or chlorine, these will discolour nails.

  • Do not pick or bite nails.

  • Have realistic expectation. People’s work seen on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest etc. are regularly edited.

  • Whilst under the use of e-file and chemical application, follow my instructions at all times.

  • New customers - if lifting occurs within the first few days, allow me the chance to repair and figure out your nail type.

  • DO NOT use nail glue in between appointments as this can cause nail infection. If you do, I hold no responsibility for the health of your nails, and cannot guarantee your nails will be suitable for future work.

  • Lifestyle can cause nails to lift or come off. For example, long nails would not last long if you are heavy handed.

  • Accept that lifting can offer if nails are not maintained correctly.

Booking Policy:

All clients are required to pay a non refundable, non transferable booking fee.

If appointment needs to be changed, I can only do this once, with at least 48 hours notice.

After this, a new booking fee with need to be required to rebook.

Amendments policy:

Should you turn up to your appointment and decide you no longer want the (for example) gel polish toes you added to your appointment, then you WILL still be charged for it.

Cancellation policy:

Please give a minimum of 48 hours' notice if you should need to cancel.

Any cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged at 50% of the total cost of treatment.

Breakages and losses:

If you should break or lose a nail within the 1st 48 hours, I will fix it for free. After this, there is a charge per nail.

I will always do my best to work out any rearrangements needed as I completely understand life sometimes gets in the way and things pop up. However i am only able to change your appointment once. After this your booking fee will be lost and you will need to repay it in order to book again.
